I posted a story to Reedsy’s website and it got ripped by, I presume, an “AI” account on YouTube (YT). I find this whole event, hilarious. There are people genuinely and rightfully upset by AI stealing people’s work, however, since I posted this story publicly, I am not surprised by this “thievery” and no human action surprises me anymore. Let me be clear: AI isn’t sentient….yet. Machine Learning algorithms are still designed by human software engineers or anyone learning how to build a neural network. Read this short story I wrote that was “stolen” by a human and posted on YT, narrated by an AI robot voice.
